The Basics
What is the PremiumCHAT System? The PremiumCHAT
System is software that uses patent-pending technology and is designed to allow
a Business Service Provider (BSP) to sell their services online. They may be a
teacher tutoring students, a lawyer, an accountant or a knowledgeable auto
mechanic. Basically anyone who has a service to sell online is eligible to
become a BSP.
How does it work? Think of the software as a
flexible metering device. The terms of the meter are set mutually by the client
(you) and the BSP (the provider of service). Terms may include either a
flat-rate for service or a timed rate. This is determined by the BSP and the
client in a mutual rate negotiation pre-session dialogue using the software.
What my relationship with a BSP? The online
relationship is directly between you and the BSP - just like in the brick &
mortar world. Think of the PremiumCHAT Systems as an extension of their office,
just online.

PremiumCHAT Software Questions
Does it cost anything to download the PremiumCHAT
software? No.
Can I use the PremiumCHAT System without downloading the
software? You can browse the BSP directory, but you will not be able
to contact a Business Service Provider (BSP) without using our software.
I am at work and behind a firewall. Can I still use your
software to contact a BSP? Yes, the PremiumCHAT software detects a
firewall and routes the connection accordingly.
I use AOL as my Internet Service Provider - does the
PremiumCHAT System still work? Yes. Logon to AOL and then access one
of our Yellow Page partner's directory or come to the PremiumCHAT.com site using
the Internet access frame near the top of the AOL task bar. Type in the web
address and then click the "GO" button on AOL.
Can I reach a BSP through AOL's Yellow
Pages? Not at this time. You must select one of the partnered Yellow
Page directories or use the PremiumCHAT.com website to access a BSP online.
My workplace does not allow us to download software. Can
I still use the PremiumCHAT System? Yes, the client-side of our
software is designed for use without a download. You access a BSP via the
world-wide-web, so if you have Internet access at work you can use the
PremiumCHAT System.

Using the PremiumCHAT System
What does it cost to use the PremiumCHAT
System? As a Client, the only fee you pay is to the BSP for the
services they provide you.
Why do BSPs offer both a FLAT RATE and a TIMED
SESSION? Some BSPs charge by the minute, hour, or other timed-period.
We want to also provide BSPs who wish to charge a flat-rate for their services
the opportunity to have a flat-rate session.
I am afraid the charges will begin before I realize the
session has started. How am I sure when the charges start? You will be
prompted after the pre-session rate negotiation is completed and asked
specifically if you agree to the charges being proposed by the BSP. Once you and
the BSP both agree to start at the rate for their services, the session starts
and the timer will begin at the lower right-hand portion of your screen.
What happens if I am unhappy with the
session? If you are dissatisfied in any way you must take it up
directly with the BSP. You will have an opportunity to rank the session and rate
your BSP following each session. This ranking and your comments will be
available for review by other clients.
How can I trust the PremiumCHAT System? The
PremiumCHAT System has the Verisign Seal of security. In addition, the
PremiumCHAT System offers other advanced security protection that is selected by
the BSP in advance of starting the session.

Connectivity to the Internet
Why should I consider a cable modem or DSL line instead
of a dial up connection as a BSP? Staying online without interruption
is the best way to earn money using the PremiumCHAT System. There are many
factors that can affect your connection with a Client that are beyond your
control. You should however, do what you can on your end to minimize those
factors, even if you are working from home. A fulltime connection to the
Internet is one way to minimize downtime and maximize your income.
Which is Better – DSL or Cable Modem? It is
likely that the right choice for you will depend on what is available in your
area where you work or live and how much you are willing to spend. DSL uses
ordinary copper phone lines for transmission and carries both voice and data on
the same lines. The data part is a continuous connection to the Internet.
Contact your local phone company to see if they offer DSL in your area. A Cable
Modem is more like a network interface card than a modem. It lets your computer
use a TV cable line to connect to the Internet continuously. With a Cable Modem
it’s a shared connection (others sharing the bandwidth) with DSL it’s just you.
Contact your local cable company to see if they offer cable modem service.
